Years ago, our tradition leading up to the New Year was watching the news to see all the people who had their fingers, hands, eyes, etc blown off.. It used to be hundreds of cases each year.
Now it’s much less due to stricter bans and bec people can barely afford them now. There’s still a good amount though, as you can see here.
